Fabian Reed Ground Works Ltd is a privately-owned construction company based in Bexhill, East Sussex, delivering groundworks, main contracting and renovation for the private sector, commercial clients and local authorities across the South East and London.
We prize our workforce. The people who price, manage and build our projects are experienced and qualified, and the sub-contract crews we bring in are the same trusted faces, job after job. When something needs doing out of hours, it is the same people who turn up.
Behind them sits the technology that keeps the work organised. Every job runs on our own job-management system — a live site diary, document filing, cost tracking and a full photographic record — so nothing is lost between site and office, and clients can follow progress as it happens.

Our commercial management team pairs hands-on construction experience with professional qualification, supported by the systems that keep each job on programme and on record. Between them the team holds decades of experience, alongside professional membership across building, surveying, engineering and fire protection — CIOB, RICS, MIET and ASFP among them.

We do not list named individuals publicly, as a matter of privacy. Once a job is on the table we introduce the team that will deliver it, in person.

Construction is more closely regulated than it has ever been, and the burden of getting it right sits with the contractor. Our clerical team holds decades of experience, alongside the professional membership listed below — which is what lets us take a project from groundworks to handover and carry it through every statutory gateway — the Building Safety Act, the Building Regulations, Approved Document B and the fire-protection regime included. We are ready, qualified and insured to take on the work.
- Health & Safety. CHAS-audited. Project-specific RAMS before any site activity; Construction Phase Plans for every notifiable job.
- Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking. A written statement of our position; sub-contractors required to confirm the same.
- Equal Opportunities. Documented and applied to hiring, sub-contract appointment and on-site conduct.
- Environmental & Waste. Site Waste Management Plans on projects of meaningful scale; carrier-licensed disposal.
- GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018. ICO registered; client and employee data handled to the obligations of the Act.
- Coronavirus & ongoing risk. A risk assessment in place and updated as guidance changes.

Where the work happens.
The office is at Unit One, Pebsham Rural Business Centre, Bexhill, East Sussex TN40 2RZ. Most of our work sits within an hour or so of there — Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes, Tunbridge Wells, the Sussex coast.
For larger projects we work in London regularly, and for specialist work we have travelled further on request. A site visit is always part of the pricing process; we will not quote a renovation we have not stood in.
